Our vegan restaurant draws on flavours and inspiration from around the world to bring you a unique dining experience. As a team we are passionate about veganism – both in terms of lifestyle and flavour. We have a menu for everyone to enjoy, as we aim to showcase what plant based food can offer. Our cosy restaurant and garden provide a welcoming space for you to enjoy our food and drinks.

The concept of Kai Bistro began many years ago when owner and head chef, Ondřej, realised his passion for vegan food. As a vegan himself, he was frustrated by the lack and poor quality of vegan cuisine he came across in his career. Having trained in New Zealand and Ireland, he brought inspiration from these countries to the menu, as well as inspiring our name “Kai”, which means “food” in the native, Maori language of New Zealand. Joined by his wife and long-term friend, Ondřej was able to bring Kai Bistro to reality in July 2023. We look forward to you joining us on our journey as we experiment with everything vegan food has to offer.
